About Barrett M82A1

Barrett M82 ( M82 , also known as "Light Fifty" because it uses .50 BMG caliber) is a recoil-operated , semi-automatic anti-materiel rifle using .50 BMG caliber bullets (12.7 mm) developed by Barrett Firearms Manufacturing from America . This rifle is made in two variants namely the original version M82A1 and M82A3, M82A2 is the bullpup version and has not been produced, this bullpup variant was replaced by XM500.
